Sugar crystals

My class and I made sugar crystals.The ingredients we used are Sugar,Water and Food colouring.We added 3 cups of sugar to some water.Then we put it on the stove.When it started to bubble we took it of. Then we dripped some food colouring in.I made mine purple,it was very dark like black. My one is growing bigger every day.It is lots of fun to make them.
